Why is the war between mathematics and physics drifting science in the wrong direction?

Scientists have collected a lot of data on nature based on specific hypothesis, but because these data did not yield the answers they were looking for, they have been parked and newer scientists rarely revisit them. Mathematicians, who don’t need to collect new data in the field before pondering on what was already collected, take some of those old data, thinking about them without any realistic framework, but just by considering the path that their mind leads them through no matter how far their demonstration can lead them, and no matter how real or imaginary their finding will be. Once they come to their conclusion, mathematicians sometimes find imaginary formulas, which when submitted to some mathematic operators, yield products, or results that appear real. Unaware of the imaginary aspects of those mathematics formulas, most scientists embrace the mathematical pseudo-real or pseudo-imaginary explanations of the physical world as real. Yet, mathematicians do not care about empirically testing these formulas in the real world, for as long as these formulas were logically constructed, the mathematicians are ok with them. Uncapable of formulating most of those mathematical equations by themselves, most scientists just embrace these formulas as total reality and start testing them by collecting data on them and using some of the same mathematical framework used to build them. In the end, scientists are trapped in a circle that bond them never to get out. How can one use imaginary formula to try to demonstrate reality?
