Yet, while arguing their cases, most creationists and their critics do not see their opponents as relevant, implying that they are not paying much attention to their opponents. In my journey as an entrepreneur, I have learned that to win prospects, it is critical to pay attention to certain things (including what they need, want, and like), some of which I applied to the passionate debate between creationists and anti-creationists to come up with some undeniable lessons that will benefit you. Here, I will share with you 7 conversational steps that creationists can take better to help their critics including evolutionists, atheists, etc.</p> <p> </p> <ol> <li><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong>Where are the anti-creationists in solving their universe-origin, life-origin, and chemicals-origin problems that they are having?</strong></span></li> </ol> <p>Most “educated” anti-creationists have their view on the origin of the universe, life, and chemicals. Creationists need to know where their opponents stand on this matter. Without addressing this question, some creationists attack their opponents without knowing the current state of the thinking of these so-called adversaries. Likewise, the anti-creationists need to inquire about the state of the creationist proofs. Without knowing the stage of knowledge of each other, creationists and anti-creationists cannot help one another.</p> <p> </p> <ol start="2"> <li><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong>What do the anti-creationists expect from the creationists?</strong></span></li> </ol> <p>By digging into this question and carefully listening to the needs of the anti-creationists, the creationists can better know what they need to address to help their opponents better. Ignoring this question will lead creationists to delve into details that the anti-creationists perceive as useless and a waste of their time. Additionally, while addressing the expectations, the creationists need to use a language that the anti-creationists need, want, or like or can understand. Unfortunately, many creationists start their efforts of addressing anti-creationist expectations by insulting the unbelievers, or by bringing up biblical verses that repel their opponents right away. Some creationist scientists can better help in this matter by supporting, encouraging, or enlightening their creationist peers to understand the expectations of the anti-creationists better. This does not mean that the creationists are supposed to meet all the expectations of the anti-creationists, but at least they need to know them so they can address them in a language that the anti-creationists can understand. And suppose the creationists don’t have the answer. In that case, it is better they say so rather than misinterpreting the creationist narrative or using some pseudoscience to try to convince stubborn anti-creationists.</p> </p> <ol start="3"> <li><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong>How far anti-creationists think creationists have progressed?</strong></span></li> </ol> <p>Creationists must try to understand how the anti-creationists perceive their progress. Knowing the answer to this question can help the creationists to assess better where to start the conversation without annoying their opponents. By understanding the efforts that their opponents are making to discredit them or prove them wrong, the creationists can better know where to find some elements to help the anti-creationists realize their mistakes. Even if most anti-creationists do not think that creationists are making any significant efforts to address their needs, it is crucial that creationists do not take that negatively, for most creationists are also quick to think that anti-creationists are just rejecting the facts. But in reality, by carefully listening to what the anti-creationists are saying, the creationists can more effectively identify problems, challenges, and gaps in their work, and use them to better engage the anti-creationists. By evaluating the progress made in perspective of the assigned goals, the creationists can better know what needs to be adjusted so the conversion rate of the anti-creationists can be improved.</p> <p> </p> <ol start="5"> <li><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong>What are the next steps of the anti-creationists?</strong></span></li> </ol> <p>Most anti-creationists as well as creationists have different agendas. Some have a lot of money put aside for their research. Therefore, theories and ways to prove their opponents wrong are being investigated all the time. So they can better prepare, creationists need to analyze, investigate, and know the next steps that the anti-creationists are planning. This knowledge will help the creationists to adjust their strategy to avoid repeating the same things or the same stereotypes. Additionally, the answer to this question can unleash some creativity with the creationists and help them think outside of the box.</p> <p>If you are a creationist, in your conversations with your anti-creationists, ask them questions and carefully pay attention to their answers. You can also find the answer of most of these questions during your research. Likewise, anti-creationists who are serious in engaging with creationists should also ask similar questions to the creationists. Unfortunately, it is unusual to see creationists and anti-creationists sitting together to discuss these problems or doing research on one another to address them. Most of them close their eyes and ears and just want to convince or convert their opponents.
